Macizo 2010
Macizo Blanco is made of the grape varieties of Garnacha, Xarel lo and Malvasia. 100% French oak barrels are used, aged in 10 months in barrels. Macizo was developed in DO Cataunya of Spain. The plots and grape varieties were carefully selected; finally Xarel lo, Malvasia and Garnacha Blanca grapes were chosen to make the blend. Each variety was separately harvested at its optimum ripeness. Fermentation lasted for 7-10 days in all the barrels. Previously, a cold maceration was developed for 3-4 days in a tank. Once fermentation finished, wines were aged in their own barrel of Fench oak, with weekly fine lees batonages. It results in fresh and very well structured wine.

Macizo presents a yellow colour with green accents, very bright. The nose shows complex aromas of ripe and tropical fruits, balsamic and toast oak notes.
The palate is fresh and ripe, well balanced, oily, concentrated, harmonious acidity with a long way.
